I've read that the stock MAF is only good for 250whp. Now over this winter I am building my new motor. Looking to push 300+whp. What options do we have for MAF replacements or such. I've heard of using a Supra MAF sensor..or even a Mustang one. I just want to make sure before i go ahead and purchase one.
what comes to my mind is that you can install an AEM FIC which have its own MAP so you can get rid of your stock MAF and use the FIC embedded MAP for your turbo application
Not sure aboute a larger flow/bigger MAF part for Hyundai cars. Most of the high-powered cars (over 600hp) ditch the MAF sensors in favor of a MAP so they don't have such big obstruction in the turbo inlet

you can pick up a 73 or 76mm 87 to 93 5.0 mustang MAF for less than $200. or get a used stock one for less than $100.
personally, I think the AEM FIC with the MAP would be the better way and more cost effective.
