Not.quite rattle your teeth bad
But more like can't use your rear view mirror bad |
Faithofdragon did you do window welds on your setup?
|
Damn...those things look like they are made out of thin aluminum. Rattling would be the least of my worries with them.
|
I have the front and rear KSPEC mount on my car. The vibration isn't bad at all. My rear view is perfectly stable. They made a HUGE difference in my wheel hop problem.

I have the front and rear mounts on too as my stock ones were shot. at idle you can feel the vibration and the rear view mirror can get a little blurry at times but nothing like as bad as I was expecting

actually they are a stock mount with a high durometer poly poured in them. well, at least they looked exaclt the same as the ones i installed in my car. |
ive been in both
my j2 has window welded mounts, its good for NA and stuff like that, but i would recommend getting the actual mounts the kspec ones arent poured into the mount, its a separate bushing thats been pressed into the stock mount |
Is there any other motor mounts available for the tib other than kspec? I dont want to wait another month for these parts to arrive. How about one alluminum solid mounts like these:
http://www.kjbmotorsports.com/alum.jpeg Or Two of these Mount Bushings: http://www.kspec.com/img/suspension/yaya_engine.jpg I do have a Torque Dampeners to help |
don't know why i said poured, i meant pressed, duh.
