^^ can you inform those of us nothing about welding but alot about grinding and polishing what's wrong with that header? It looks to me like it could use alot of TLC with a dremmel cutoff wheel and wire brush, then a few other steps to really bring out the luster.

I've assisted in a few welding jobs, then knocked off the slag and polished metal with a brass wire brush. Did he use too much? I'm not a welder, I've just assisted. I don't really understand what is bad about that weld.

looks like they stick welded it.. what is that shit.. that is way to big. you would loose power if you put that on.
piss poor both of them

you got to remember exhaust gas flow down not up. so the 2nd one is proned to boost spikeing.

you want to break the wastegate off at a 40~43 dregee pitch. the best way it to have it pointed downwards

collectors are kinda shitty.

What collector? Looks like they just put the 4 pipes together, wrapped a piece of sheet around them and filled the gaps with slag.

depends on your definition of 'good'..

best manifolds that will hold up will be cast manifolds, or tims log manifolds..

best bang for buck would be OBX.

then theres some nutty, overpriced, quality manifolds from maintec.
