Default Idea for additional fuel problems

I had an idea at about 3am this morning. I have the 03 4cyl Tiburon and Alpine turbo kit. Do you think it would be possible to use the fuel rail and injectors from the 2001 model as a secondary injector setup installed upstream from the OEM injectors? Of course these would be driven by a stand alone sub-injector controller.
I haven't checked yet but it looks like there is enough room on the intake runners to have injector bungs installed. Would my returnless fuel system help or hinder this type of setup?

Yes, its very common to do such.

But the thing is. for the price of a running 4 additional injectors.

You could buy a standalone and run 4 primary LARGEr injectors.

Shadohh,

I can pick up a set of injectors and the fuel rail for around 60 bucks. They've only got 12,000 miles on them. My main concern is utilizing the returnless fuel system. Would I need to get a new fuel pump to maintain the static pressure in the fuel rails?
The reason why I'm exploring this route is due to what I've heard about using larger injectors and having it disrupt the idle speed.

1. To run those 4 extar injectors will cost $400 + FMU

2. with a returnless you can go with either a conversion to a return system, or look at the pump/fpr mechanism.

3. Larger injectors will mess up idle only with a stock ecu. Gettng a standalone. it will IDLE BETTER then your stock engine.

why use a FMU? the 4 extra injectors will provide more then enough fuel...with those he doesn't need to run sky high fuel pressure
he juste need a EIC (extra injectors controler) a fuel pump and a bit of piping/welding work
but be sure to aim the other set of injectors properly to get good atomisation/fuel flow
