I know, another supercharger question.
Will this new supercharger sound really nice like the good old ones on chevy V8's. That sound always gave me the goose bumps. Used to have a 377 small block stroker with crower cam and 12.75/1 pistons, victor jr. intake holly 750,etc..etc..when life was simpler. Never got the blower though...

The unit I have on the Elantra makes that Whine.
Superchargers make the whine regarless of size. I have YET to hear a supercharger that doesn't.

How does your elantra run(didn't know you had one) and where did you find the S/C? I'm looking for one, for my '97 tib 1.8l and really, i'm a little saddened with little to nothing that i found. Cheuk said that the crankshaft and the conrods are good for 300+ whp. Is that in the 2.0l only? My 1.8l is very healthy and i want to take that motor to the limit (which makes me excited considiring that limit is preeeeetty high). I think RPW carries a S/C for tibs but i'd venture to say they have MAP tibs instead of MAF tibs which doesn't help me at all. *sigh* sad.gif

Random has yams old supercharged elantra
His unit is from alpine
Internals are good up to 300whp,... pistons will go somewhere from 200-250whp
You can either buy the alpine supercharger or you can just make your car a MAP just for the ecu/piggyback ecu that you will be using
I will have a MAP sensored intake manifold for sale soon,...
You could always just buy a map sensor as well and adapt it to your manifold
do a search on MAP
