Hey, I'm a new tibby owner, but definitely loving it. So much so, that I wouldnt be afraid to put some money into my car. I'm not the best with engines, but that's mostly due to experience, and I'm certainly willing to learn. I've got two very close friends, one with a SHO and one with a mustang, and the guy with the SHO knows anything and everything about what goes on under the hood.

The question is, how much to get started on a bare bones turbo setup? Id like to keep it as cheap as possible, and at least get an idea at how much a turbo would end up costing. Any estimates/suggestions out there? And no, "dont buy a turbo" isnt a suggestion. wink1.gif

well thats reassuring, i see these kits online going for like 4k and i wonder how low a ground-up setup could be.

Also, are their any websites out there with good combinations of equipment to get started with? I know a guy selling a mitsubishi turbo that id like to get started with. i tryed google, and found a few websites, but really nothing that iw as looking for.

I would not go cheap with a turbo setup. made 2.5k for a good low end one.
