As the title says, Ive heard some bad things about the OBX turbo manifold. Exactly how bad is it and why? If I could get one for under $100 is is still not worth it? Just wanted a few of your opinions, thanks!

Heres a link if you dont know exactly which type Im talkin about

It looks like a decent manifold from the pic... whether or not thats the quality of the product you get I dunno.

If I remember right, the problem was the manifold not being able to support the weight of the turbo, and adding a brace solved that problem.

Actually it look pretty good. They made it stronger by adding that little plate for weight support. IMO, it's well worth $100.

One of the new Australian members, renante, has that turbo manifold... He has a GT28-RS ("Disco Potato") on the end of it so it should be capable of supporting your average turbo's weight. You should ask him what he thinks of it.

Which goes back to whether or not that is going to be the actual, decent looking product you will recieve. you might get the wastegate port like advertised, but you might not get the same quality manifold as pictured.
