heres what im doing today. fun!
well i couldnt really find an off topic forum to post this, so since it has to do with my turbo project i thought i just post it here..
this is what im trying to finish up today.. I ordered my aem fic the other day now im finishing the wiring for the PNP harness... this is my first real solder attempt and its comming out nicely i think.. the solder joints seem strong and im taking my time trying to prevent any head aches later..
heres some pics.

this has been a very educating experience, but also a royal pain in the ass, but its better to do it out of the car than try to fight with soldering this sh*t under the dash in a accent lol

so how did you take apart the main engine side harness, cut it off? someone gotta break it down for me.

all done

well for now.. its time for testing.. ive ran through it several times with my ohm meter to make sure the connections are accurate and they all are.. now im going to install with bypass plugs to see if car runs.. if it does success then its time for tape and try to make it look decent... im trying to decide what to do with the wires not being used.... was thinking cut them but i may just tape em into the harness... i dunno.. but yea the rst round i made a mistake with the harness plug orientation i had it all backwards ... so i got another and started over this time should be all good..
i just reach up the dash and cut the wires for the harness plug... the ecu connection i took apart a oem ecu and then destroyed it and cut the pins so i could solder wires to em.... i figured since this was 350$ spent last week i cant buy anyhting else at the moment ill just finish wiring it up i may just through the fic it n.a see how it drives ... but i still need to modify the mounting bracket im using and mount the fic in the car and figure out a vacuum line,

Congrats on getting it working!
My Innova scantool can read STFT and LTFT as well as read/reset trouble codes and display other live data and was only about $80. I think they're even cheaper now.
