the AEM UEGO is one of the cheapest top-of-the-line wideband systems on the market.
215$ with gauge, sensor, etc.

the innovate with the gauge and everything is around 400$. just the sensor and harness itself, WITHOUT the gauge is same price as UEGO

FYI, in a wideband shootout of like 9 wideband system, the AEM UEGO ranked #2, innovate LC-1 ranked 1, but VERY close to eachother.

and yeah, i told him to say EFF the DEFI right from the start, way too much money

Innovate LC1 with Bosch O2 sensor sells for US$190 you can get ProSport gauge (able to read wideband signal from controller) for US$46 making it US$236 for a wideband kit with gauge included. So differnece is not sucah a big one if the setup is put in this way

Defi is just to expensive for my taste (paying for the name) and then when you buy gauges you have to buy controller also. I would rather go with STRI gauges http://www.quantumautosport.com/ or PRosport.

eh, i guess. if i were to get a wideband though, AEM would be it, cuz its still the cheapest, and one of the best out there. also, a innovate with a prosport gauge might effect latency, which is the only thing the innovate was better in then the UEGO, just some food for thought.

yeah, DEFI does make some REALLY nice stuff. looks and performs great, but only belongs in a high end, or race car IMO, or if you have money to shit out, and brag about how ya spent like 800$ on gauges. lmao.gif lmao.gif

so far, I have tried the AEM and the Innovate Wideband 02 sensors and gauges, and so far I have been seeing unnoticeable differences in the two. I just noticed that the AEM has a more stable reading than the Innovate, so I'm guessing maybe the Innovate can read/display changes faster (?) .... But I don't know, I was using a handheld display/logger in the Innovate. Maybe that had a difference?

On the Defi gauges, they are ok and definately look cool... but I noticed that compared to some Dyno and Mechanical pressure gauges, for some reason ALL of the Defi boost gauges I have worked on or seen have been reading +1/+2 psi. This has been an ongoing talk with most car enthusiasts here, but I guess it doesn't matter THAT MUCH (but still, you're paying a lot of $$$) anyway because it reads higher than it should, meaning it will still be safe. The last thing a guy needs is a boost gauge that reads lower than his actual boost LOL

I have to agree with Hive about getting the Stri instead, but be sure to check all the sensors are working if you're going electronic gauges. I have seen at least 3 cases of Stri boost pressure sensors and a water temp sensor go bad.

Good luck with your build! sounds like you have a very deep pocket smile.gif

is this the manifold i want. i dont see the flange on it but its not really a good angle for it... also is the wastegate gonna work only on a 46mm wastegate on this manifold? can i use a 38mm?

you need a completely NEW manifold.. and the downpipe has to be completely NEW also.. think about it, your removing the headers.. adding a turbo manifold, a turbo, and a downpipe that exits out the side..

so when you take off your manifold/flex pipe, that will be replaced with a new assembly that includes (turbo manifold, turbo, downpipe)

ya i know i need aftermarket ones too... i head a couple people commenting about how something had to be modified there tho for something... but i guess not. so the OBX manifold i saw had a 46mm wastegate.. so do i just get a 46mm or can i use the 38 u suggested?

http://sparktecmotorsports.com/th10507.html

also... i cant find 750cc injectors.... unless i can use any set of 750cc injectors... but im lookin for tiburon specific and cant find a thing... anyone got an idea of where to get some from?
