the laptop would still be better to do all of that stuff. the eo-1 has some very good qualitys tho.. u wouldnt be able to access the maps and stuff through the e0-1.. if you can get it for 200.00 though, i would like it.. i am using a laptop but i would like some things on the eo-1 just for ease.. although, if you have that deal, i would take it.. but if you dont want it let me know..
with e0-1 u can hook up auxilary sensors like a wideband, boost control and some other cool stuff. t4turbo has it, hopefully he will chime in..

well boost control i really cant use with a s/c lol my boost control is flipping the switch off cool.gif
well with a wideband and a e01 i would be able to mess with it myself right? i wouldnt need to take it to the dyno and such plus i think i know what im doing(if not ill learn wink1.gif )
im liking this emanage thing with every bit of new info i find
plus there are more people using emanage in the US than the smt so askin questions from local dyno shops would produce more answers
nate was it hard to figure out the emanage when you hooked yours up?
EDIT: just found out that this has no harness at all, no tuning cd and the mounting bracket is bent.....im not gonna support someone robbing besides if the guy has enough balls to steal it hes willing to sell me something that doesnt work now
but im still interested in gettin one though

with the e-01 you should have a screen with 2 cables comming off one with a controler and one with a flat plug this plug goes into a small box about 2.5"x2.5" and about 1" thick this box should have a power harness that plugs into it with 4 wires. This is just the basic e-01 TUNING MODUAL just for the emanage tuning and dataloging, no boost control. The boost controler e-01 has a boost control solinoid with a harness that runs into the little box, it also has a map sensor with a harness running to the little box. Now if the unit was stolen most likely you would jsut get a screen no box. I have seen this before on ebay. Normaly e-01's will go for 300-400 used with all harnesses and sensors. There is no software to go with it just the screen box pressure sending unit and solinoid and all harnesses. Hope this helps clear up some stuff.

the emanage is really a good thing and especially the ultimate.. wish i could get that one, but after i fix/upgrade my turbo kit, imma be shit outta money.
the emanage, once installed, thanx to t4turbotibs plug and play harness smile.gif was really easy to understand.. i am using a second boost rail, so adam (t4turbotib) made me a map that added fuel when boosting.
its pretty easy to understand, and i would recommend it.

emanage blue goes on ebay for like 250 with the injector and ignition harness thats cheaper than ive seen for the smt hell ive seen SAFC's go for that much
i can rely on ya guys to help me if i run into some problems right? cool.gif

If your going emanage i dont suggest emanage ultimate now as 70% of the functions are via the additional injecton funtion and with those hooked up our ecu opens the injectors to 100%. The blue will work ok but the additional injection map will not work as when you input a value it will open the injectors to 100% im unsure of why this is but it possibley can be fixed with a few transistors and going internally inside the ecu bypassing the stock transistor array. Anyway everything else with the blue will work and is functional and is an excellent tuning device its just our damn ecu's. Right now im looking into megasquirt standalone ecu and a greddy ultimate piggyback combo the megasquirt will just be there to fire the ignition and run the injectors very minimal tunning just a rough base map. The ultimate will be there to fine tune and take care of teh rest of the stuff. Will have a standalone compareable to a aem and much better than a haltech for about 1k. Will see like i said im just looking into doing it need to get the megasquirt up and working first then will play with the rest.
