Hey guys, as many of you probably know, i am boosted right now.. but i am scrapping the t3super 60 turbo, which will be in the for sale forum soon, for something bigger..
i have narrowed it down to two turbos, and they both have a lil different specs, but around the same price and max power output..
the first is the Garrett GT32 turbo which can be found here.. the GTs have the journal bearing setup for faster spooling correct??
Garrett gt32 turbo, with t3 exhaust flange.. but it has 73 Trim, .78 A/R Wheel.
gt 32
the other is this t3/t40e..
COMPRESSOR SPECS: TURBINE SPECS:
flow: 50 lbs/min 640cfm .48 A/R HOUSING
.60 A/R HOUSING STAGE 3 WHEEL
57 TRIM WHEEL
supportable of 400whp!
t3/t4oe
both of them have pretty much same power outputs, but im looking into mostly for fast spooling and reaching the powerband quick, yet having a great mac power.. i am no turbo guru, so thats why i am asking for your guys help in assisting me in this decision in picking the best turbo.. thanx

gt turbos are ball bearing turbos. all other turbos have journal bearings. ball bearing turbos are much more efficient and spool up faster.
Wrong!
There is a line of GT turbo's that are not ball bearing

journal bearing means regular "bushings"
it'S simple. .you need to have a "R" in the part number
T28 = bushing
gt28R = ball bearings
gt35 = bushing
gt35R = ball bearings
also be carefull some exhaust housing need more space for the outlet so the DP might get in the way or very near the alternator (one area our engine don't leave us much space)

they look strange like, like they came off or are made for a desiel or a desial genrator, Imho. go with garrett hell yeah but as from ebay... not so sure with that crap i had a bad expereince a few times. can you go direct to gareett and get a better deal, warrentty wise.. go with a gt35r or go with IHI RHX6
