Is A Garret Gt-22 Turbo Too Small
Is a GT-22 turbo too small?
I am not looking for all out power, I just want the car to pull hard from 2500 to 6000 RPM.
After boosting my car, I am looking for 200-250 WHP.
I don't like driving with the car pegged and that is where all the power comes from with the bigger turbos.
After reading maximum boost and calculating the maps, The GT-22 fit almost perfect. I was just wondering if anyone has seen one on a tib.
Thanks

i looks like it would be a great quick spooling turbo, just no room for growth. actually it would be plenty unless you are planning on doing internal engine work.

It should flow enough for your motor but I can't see you getting to 250whp with it.
If I go turbo, I'll prolly go with a small, quick-spooling one too... TD04 to T25-ish probably. No need for big numbers here fing02.gif
