Fuel pump
Hello all. Got a question. I was GIVEN a fump pump from a 97 Sonata, and was wondering if I may be able to use this to push more fuel through my 1.6L Alpha returnless (POS)? If not then I guess I will have to use it for a custom liquid-to-air intercooler.
Thanks in advance

On a returnless setup, you need to use a special pump designed for returnless fuel systems. Unless you want to convert to a return style fuel system.
I'm not too sure about the ability of a fuel pump to be used as a water pump in the application you are refering to. In tank fuel pumps are designed to be liquid cooled, that is, cooled by the liquid around them. Any type of water/air intercooler setup would be best served with a inline water pump rather than an "in tank" water pump. Unless you have a really big tank/water resivoir.
