Keep the knock off and enjoy the stress of knowing at any point you could be stranded. Well worth all the worry to save a few bucks. Don't get an aeromotive. Peace of mind is way overrated anyway.

So say I get the aeromotive. Is there any flanges that will fit our fuel rails? So I don't have to tap it.

 

Yes, I just ordered one from eBay. Look for a dsm fuel rail adapter. I got a 6an one. Might need to enlarge the bolt holes on the adapter a bit though.

 

I got my afpr in and installed it and its reading a steady 80 psi no matter what. The return line isn't kinked I checked. It wont adjust either. Anyone have any feed back?

 

Per aeromotives website, it says this can happen if the regulator or return line is undersized. What model aeromotive did you buy?

 

I forget exactly. I'll check back and let you know. I used the stock aluminum return line and just cut off the banjo and clamped it to that.

Well, the link you posted is to a fuel pump, but I found the a1000 fuel regulators.



There seems to be quite a few options. I am using a 13109 in the 1000 series. Works flawlessly so far. Boosted to about 15 PSI. Able to adjust to a solid 45 PSI at idle and anywhere in between the specified PSI of that regulator. I believe it is 40-75 PSI.



Did you buy it new? Make sure its for fuel injection and you didnt accidentally buy one for carb. Not sure if that would cause your problem. Possibly.



If you have a 13109 and you still cant adjust the pressure, I'd contact Aeromotive support and possibly do an RMA. That is, if you purchased it new. Mine worked great right out of the box. But, all products suffer some % of manufacturing errors, even the almighty Aeromotives!
