Haltech is a great one as it seems for full standalone.
but if you dont wanna mess with full standalone and just want piggyback, depending on your needs, emanage works great, and i think the SMT-6 works good.
the emanage works best with the dual fuel rail setup, which i have had NO problems with, the ECU has NO more control over how much fuel you add.

ok, the SAFC is not a POS, our cars ECU is ghey, and doesnt like to work with the SAFC.
reason you wanna stay away from it, is because our ECU will eventually correct for the fuel compensation, go back to stock, ull run lean, and if ur not careful, youll have a big mess on your hands.
SMT6 and emanage can use subinjector harnesses which you can run a 'boost' rail via emanages MAP sensor and it will add fuel via the 'boost' rail when boost kicks in

there was quite a bit of dicussions/posts regarding this topic in our forum; things like SAFC, SMT-6, Haltech, E-manage, PRS open/closed loop operation, dual/duel/secondary rails, stand-alone, MAF... etc, you know stuff like that. There is so much info in here... you just need to do some time searching and a lot of time reading!!!
essentially... to have a solid fuel management setup, fellas here either went to a full stand-alone or the secondary rail setup.

yeah i should've read around. but i just want something cheap. the reason i want to go w/ a safc is because all my buddies got it so i know plenty of people that know how to use it.

Nothing is wrong with a SAFC with Turbo for starters
I had a SAFC and 440cc injectros installed with my Alpine kit for 4 years WITH NO ISSUES and running 220WHP at 12psi
Emanage would be Better but SAFC can also do the job! drillsergeant.gif
