you could run some type of kill-switch to reset your ECU everytime you stop driving but thats pretty ghetto IMO.. misewell spend a couple hundred more than the SAFC II and get real fuel management.
also, i duno if you started putting your turbo kit together yet, but don't cheap out on ANYTHING.

Yeah I suppose that would be kinda ghetto. "Hey why won't your car start?" "Oh you have to boot up the computer first." XD
And I not going cheap on anything, I've had some friends that learned the hard way. But since right now I plan on not going over 7~8 psi I just want something that can handle that. But what would you suggest? I kinda liked the SAFC II gui. I would like something that I could tune without having to plug in a laptop.

FMU's are garbage.. thats why pretty much no one thats boosted has one in their car. speed-factor used to offer them in their basic kit a long time ago and no one was really successful with the FMU's as far as i know.

I wouldn't say they're garbage. You just have to know how to use them. I had a Vortech FMU on the last Acura I built. It made 600whp at 17psi and was built to handle 25psi.

How do you suggest properly using them? I plan on getting a wideband o2 kit then fine tuning it with something. Like the SAFC II.

to properly tune with an FMU, you need a diaphragm kit so you can change the ratio. If you still can't get it just right, you need to put an adjustable bleed valve on the signal hose to fine-tune it.
