Default FMU question

If I use FMU for fuel management (without piggy-back, boost up to 7-8psi).

Will it work with my stock MAP sensor?
Will ECU throw any CEL?

By my understanding you need to have both. The FMU will increase fuel pressure and the piggy-back will tell the injectors to use that extra fuel.

If you have the extra pressure you need something to control the injectors.

As I told you last night Dima, FMU will work by itself, but you will be running very rich.

Most likely after 3.5PSI you will throw CEL. Get an aftermarket MAP sensor!

He wants to go cheaper/easier way that's why he wants to use FMU. So, no piggy back for him!

cheaper isn't always better if he doesn't want the embarrasing orange glow of a CEL lurking in his interior. get both

Thanx.
So as I understand FMU can be much easier to use on MAF based Tib.

CEL=bad, so I deffinitely need MAP change. And since new MAP (2 bar) piggy-back deffinitely should be used, cause ECU will not understand new MAP correctly.

So I think I'll go this way for fuel management:
-piggy back
-bigger injectors
-fuel pump

(without FMU)

QUOTE (Speed-Factor)
or you can use the FMU with a Missing Link on the stock MAP.

What is it?
How to do it?
