Evo Turbo Manifold

Well, it's not going in my car. It's going on a buddy's car. I wish it were going on mine. But apparently the evo can take a Beta II head. They do that to swap their stock SOHC for our DOHC.
I'm not a real motor head, but the lower right screw, the one that's kinda off on our cars, it's off on that manifold too. I roughly measured from peak to peak of each port, it's about the size of a cigarette pack on both the EVO manifold and ours. Not a precice measurement by far but they're close. The only noted issue is the evo manifold is alot longer then our turbo manifold. It looks like it might work if the fans could be moved to the other side of the radiator.
Again, i'm not going to be the one to try this, but i'd like to hear if anyone has.

DUDE, who cares lol, take your header off, and give it a shot just to see if it lines up, itl take you a total of like 30 min on and off laugh.gif. How much did that whole evo setup cost you?

dayum, that looks like it would work PERFECT, and be far enough toward the drivers side to eliminate the alternator frying.
interesting about the evo's doing the betaII swap, but F*** your friend, slap it on your tib lol. all the works been done for you, just have to tap the block and run some charge piping.

don't think it would fit, but damn close! i bought something similar before, the Evolution 8 engine looking exactly like ours, even the way it's setup and everything.
HAS anyone ever confirmed this?
