Default Ever Heard or discussed about Silverwater Auto?

I found this article very interesting, and there are parts of it that called my attention... have you read this: Auto Speed Elantra Ball of Fire? I bought a subscription to that internet magazine, but I don't think it would be unethical to reproduce some parts for you:

"This kit includes a custom cast exhaust manifold (HPC'd on Peter's request) and a roller bearing T28 turbo - together with the associated water and oil feed/drain plumbing. The intake path commences with a K&N pod air filter, later passing through a custom front-mount tube-and-fin air-to-air intercooler. This 'cooler is fabricated for Silverwater Auto by Queensland's PWR. Other gear included in the kit is a custom turbo dump pipe (again HPC'd for Peter), silicone hoses, an elaborate oil breather system and a re-circulating Ralliart blow-off valve. Interestingly, a set of four high-flow Bosch injectors is operated by OE re-mapped Siemens management system running a 2 Bar MAP sensor."

I'm not very much into the forced induction, but I always heard of trouble with a fifth injector in some setups.
Here's the question... Theorically a setup like that one would fit any MAP based Beta? (I understand that could be too few info, but I mean in general terms).

well, the elantra in the article is a 98, and you have a 96. i don't know if you have the same beta as the 98's. if you do, then yes, the turbo will fit your car. i'm just not sure when hyundai started a new generation of elantras (i.e. 96, 97, 98...?). random??? he'll be able to help you more than i did...hmm, then why did i even post. suicide

Yeah, thats old news.

2 thing to remember.

1. They have a MAP system.

2. They use a different ECU for hyundai in Aussie. And one that is widely supported. And they can just write up new code for it.

hay i have an article on this turbo kit.
if you would like i can post.

I was interested in it for my coupe they put it on a 1.8 tib with a modded muffler and it made 150 kw at wheels. any hows it says that it will be best put on a fx coupe. not a very stylish looking kit, it looks basic.

OK, first, yes alz, I'll be interested, if you have a link, it would be nice if you post it, or you can e-mail me if you want.
Second, I am not sure how it was on the US, but in Southamerica the second gen Elantras (and first gen Tibbys) with Beta Engines was introduced as 96 model, but production started on year 95. Actually, my car was produced in 1995, but as a 96 model. Curiously, it doesn't have the evap canister at the fender as revision A (which makes me think that could be a feature for the US only).
Finally, my car uses MAP too (I believe only in the US and Canada they use MAF). Give me some help here, are MAP based ECU's easier to reprograme, remap or whatever?
In case I buy a kit like that one, will I have the setup problems I've read about the cases in the States, or the kit provider pre-programmed ECU/Chip would work OK "from the Box"?

The silverwater people like to keep their info to themselfs. That way they make more money! its simple. I have had them upgrade my fuel system consisting of injectors, fuel pump and finally do a remap of the ecu to suit my turbo kit. It ended up costing me just under AU$3000 for their services! what a whopper!.. if you need specific part numbers of what they used i can help as i have the same motor in my car as you.

Dave from Silverwater took me for a ride in that Lantra. Nice steady power delivery, the set up would be great on a tib chassi. Not wanting to hi-jack post however, Tib 1.8L 10/96 in Australia, MAP or MAF?
