Default Eturbo

So has anyone tried, and successfully used an e-turbo with proven gains. im guessing not, but i tried it, and got no noticeable gains expect right off the line cause it helps air in quick from the cai. i just dont know if its blocking air flow after a few thousand RPMS or not.

Theoretically an e-supercharger is possible but mathematically it is not feasible at 12 volts. Thomas Knight makes a "real" electric supercharger but it's nearly $2000 and runs off of an 8hp electric motor.

I would remove the electric turbo deal honestly. It's about 98% likely that it's causing a restriction at full throttle.

Yeah i took it out, and put an elbow in its place. and it does run better. at low rpms its not bad, but after mid rpms, it sucks.

Not only what 187 said, but you also run the risk of one of the plastic propellers on the E-charger breaking off and getting caught somewhere in your throttle body or worst yet....your intake manifold.

Agreed with what was said. Don't cheap out on the upgrades wink.gif If it's cheap, it will either be weak, or unreliable.
