what electronics would you recomend that will make it easyer... APEX AFC maybe?

i dont mind spending a lot of money as long as it keeps my car runnig smooth and eficient.

one of the reasons why i ask is bc of this post, i hope i will be able to avoid something like this

Problem always comes up with fuel issues...You have to change your returnless fuel system.
Or you'll be only be able to boost up to around 8 psi max, an thats with good tuning.

Im going turbo as well...
I got 350cc injectors, SAFC, MSD DIS-2, FD fuel pump, tibby fuel rail, 1.5L SOHC fuel tank...
Just need to get a FPR that rises pressure w/boost...

Then don't go with band-aids; use a complete standalone, and you won't have any problems (given that the tuning is done correctly).

the S-AFC is a bandaid fix. A SMT-5 or SMT-6 are a tad closer, but they do not have boost dependant timing control.

For a "complete" solution, you are looking at some form of a stand alone.

If you don't mind spending the money, the Haltec E6K or E11K would be the item to buy. It's 1200-1600, but it will guarantee your engine will not have ANY engine manangment related issues.

just keep in mind, that it's from 1200-1600, and if you can pull out your motor and your stock wiring harness all power to you, but if not, then you're looking at close to another 1000-1200 for install and tuning... of it... that is the only setback on the haltech...

Batlord-

It is NOT that hard to install the Haltec. it does NOT require engine removal or wiring removal. There are only about 25-30 wires you need to hook up. I'll be doing a "how to" for everyone, but it's NOT that hard. Install cost should be 200-300 MAX.

Kewl, you're doing a Haltech setup too. E6K or E11?

Also keep in mind that if you decide to stay at a low boost setting(5-7psi)a stand alone is NOT needed. You can run a S-AFC with 440cc injectors and you will be fine.A stand alone is really needed after about 12psi.But you can also use the SMT-5 which is also cheap and has timing features. This would cost cheaper with a S-AFC and MSD combo.
