Electronic/pneumatic Wastegate Controller
also known as an electronic boost controller...
AJ has one, don't think many other people on here have them.
the Greddy B-spec II or w/e is supposed to be a real nice unit though.
they are nice cuz you can customize alot more things than having a set pressure at all times.
also can set limiters, warnings, etc. would be a good investment for the car imo.

I want one more for the ability to keep the wastegate CLOSED (avoid creep) until desired pressure is reached.
Just curious who has one, reviews..

Ive used a Greddy Profec spec B and the Apexi AVC-R. The Spec B is a little controller with knobs and the Apexi unit uses a screen like the SAFC. I find the Greddy a lot easier to use but the AVC-R is a lot cooler looking lol.
Install isnt bad on either. Im sure you could handle it just fine.

Pat check that one out. in my opinion the best unit on the market right now. it will do what you are talking about and more. If you like it I can put in contact with someone who can get you some off of that price. Read the manual it will give you a very good idea of what it is capable. http://www.alamomotorsports.com/gred...EC_B_SPEC2.pdf
I can give you more info if you like... let me know.

I have the World Motorsports PBC-1 on my Tib. I works GREAT! Like most EBCs you can adjust gain, ramp and duty cycle to eliminate boost creep and decrease lag. The duty cycle function works great on maintaining set PSI till redline.

I like the #'s they provided lol. That is a difference in settings, they took the time to set the pbc-1 up right where as they simply set the others to hit target boost and left it at that. Nothing against the pbc-1, but a flawed and shaddy advertising tactic in my opinion. If majority of the good units on the market are setup properly your power should be the same, you should see about the same #'s and spool time from all of them.
+1 for the world controller...all my friends from my home town use em and love em. just for a little fact World Motorsports is from my hometown, like a 10 minute drive from my house.
I've met Chris Rado and Eric Plebani at a Unichip training years ago. They are stand up guys. The solenoids they use are some of the best in the market. I've had a HKS and a Greddy boost solenoid go on me. Not fun to see your boost spike beyond what the gauge can read.. lol
