ECM RPM Cut-Off
Hey Guys!
What inputs does the ECM use for detecting high rpm cut-off? I am planning to go FI & don't want to chance high rpm pinging on my Delta engined (2.7L V6) Sonata (model 2004). I am planning to keep the rpm at 5500.
Is there a way?
Regards,
Vivek.

So you want to limit the RPM's to 5500 max? The stock ECU cutoff is very safe. I don't think there's an easy way to adjust the rev limiter. Seoulful Racing can reprogram ECU's including the rev limiter.
