Default Do people notice your intecooler?

When I see a huge IC, I respect the car regardless of its condition or make...cuz it musta pack some heat. I usually think twice about trying to mess with such a car. When I drive, I'm always around people with fixed up civics, mini cooper s, porsche, etc. My question is that do you think people notice your intercooler? I know it depend on how kowledgeable a person is...but I always wonder if those racers on the street take notice of it...or do they jsut look for the wings and exhaust? And do you look out for it when you drive?

Especially if its mounted in front of your radiator...or modestly within your bumper valance.

I give more props to a car that has a front mount and is boosted, that DOESNT come from the factory with boost than I do a car that already is from the factory.

Seeing a Hyundai or another non-oem turbo'd car -

Seeing an Evo or Eclipse GST or WRX with a front mount -

Not installed yet, but afterwards I hope not. I plan to tuck it nice an neat like Turboron_99 did. Going for that sleeper look so I really hope no one sees it regularly.

And I rarely give respect to people who use a massive intercooler as fashion accessory. Too many fools running around here with stock KA24's with their front bumpers removed to install 24x24" interfooler with magic piping and one of those fake BOVs. I say tuck it and hide it. If people are legit, they'll find you.
