very very nice. Good job what size turbo is that thing running? And any supporting mods? I do love the way the smoke from the burnout around it before the start very sweet. I found drag racing FWD cars it is better to avoid the water pit and if you do a burnout just make it quick to clean off the tires from debris we where knocking of 2 tenths with our cars just by avoiding the water pit. and almost no noticable difference between the burnout and no burnout. Of course it was a 90F degree day. But the tires also last longer without a burnout. Either way awesome tib awesome vid and great job!

The owner is a little secretive with his turbo, the only thing I know is that it's tangential-divided turbo and it full TO4.

Thank you, Juanra, for posting this. We don't get many opportunities to see the great Puerto Rico track cars.

Technically it's not a track car, he uses that car to work every day.

stock heat shield being used FTW!! judging by the way the heat shield is installed, im thinking modified stock manifold?

just goes to show you, you dont need a 1000$ tubular steel spaghetti manifold to be a beast on the track

I can't see pictures here at work, all I can see is the timeslip. Awesome that he's running that as a Daily driver.

The turbo is made by precision, probably the same one I'm using (capable of 585whp) or the step up capable of (625whp).

That car is also being sprayed as well, it's not just on boost

Also, he might dd but it probably slugs like a mofo not under boost. Check out the size of the decomp gasket.

That is what I was going to do is use the stock cast manifold since cast is usually stronger then tubular anyways. But that is probably next winters project! This winter is all about getting the transmission internals upgraded for me anyways

Hmm for those figures I would guess it is from the TD04 family running with T05 internals. And since PR has the equivalent of our race fuel at the pump it would be pretty easy to see these numbers being true especially since he is running with LSD and some pretty heavy front springs and softer rears from the vid. Still sweet I would love to give it a run down the track and as other saids thanks for giving us this gem it is a beautiful thing.

For reference of what our cars maybe capable of with some better aftermarket support check out this link to a great Saab tuner and look what he has in the car without running NOS
