Default Cutting crashbar for FMIC

Has anyone had to cut their crashbar to install a FMIC? I have a small one now, but I can see myself upgrading at a later time to a bigger IC. The only problem is that when that happens, I may have to cut the crashbar to make it fit behind the bumper. Whos done it and how hard of a job was it?

Hmmm...never thought of that. But I still do want some part of the crashbar there in case of an accident.

The RD's is not flimsy in any way. I cut a notch out of mine to fit my FMIC.
They also help to support the front bumper at high speeds, and in some cases keep it from sagging.
