well after goin to nopi i got a idea..
anyways after seein all those 7 second cars and such some things went through my mind
find a front end wrecked tib or elantra(doesnt matter..both beta)
get rid of ANYTHING not needed ac heater everythin hell even cut out the window regulators
weld up a tube chassis
put in a 3 gallon fuel cell
get the beta and turn it sideways
connect a chevy 3 speed and connect it to a chevy 10 bolt posi
boost the s#@#$ out of the beta
no power steering, no alternator, electric water pump back to the basics
and look for the 9s...
what ya think?

Damn son!!! That sounds sick!
I was thinkin of something around the same lines except I was crazily thinking up the possibilities of an LS1 in the tib. LOL lmao.gif
Sounds crazy but imagine how insane it would be to see a tib lifting the front wheels off the ground at the track!!! Hehe.
I have a front end wrecked tib and would be willing to negotiate a price. Well, to be honest, I dunno if you would even want it as the passenger side is wrecked (I fixed it with body filler and a new door, but the filler cracked during my recent accident) and the bumper got messed up due to the tow truck driver. PM me if you want to talk about it.
Good luck with the idea man!

I was thinking of doing somthing similar but time and money are to tight, If you want to do it go with a rx7 or a 240sx drivetrain as they have tons less parasitic drag than the chevy.

You wanna do wheelies?
There's an easier and cheaper method.
Get your elantra, turbo the shit out of it and stick some nitrous into it.
Stick it in reverse, floor it and hit the NAWWS, Reverse wheelie b****es!
