Confusion with NGK Spark plug codes
Hi there guys,
Ive just taken over a project that Steve b on here used to own, and come back to RD's (my third tib now) and starting the process of tweaking and finishing bits off.
Today i went to go and buy some new plugs, the ones that are in there at the moment are running 2 steps colder, code BKR7EIX-11, however neither the local motorfactor or other local stores could trace that plug, only the BKR7EIX.
Are these the same plugs? I've had a look around, but cant define what the -11 equates to.
Stupid question here, but am i right in thinking that if the BKR7EIX was ok, then the thread and gapping should be fine, even though they are not car specific?
T25 @ 5psi
Thanks

these badboys? BKR7E-11
Thats the ones! - Except the ones that are in there are the iridium ones, the point is super fine. Will i need Iridium or will standard copper tips be ok?!
Aaah, so am i right in thinking that you get like a standard plug and the thread sizes are universal, but then the gapping is done by hand?
.38 - got it, cheers! Got a proper set of gauges so will go ahead with those... if theyre ok...?
At 5psi at the moment but getting remapped to 8-10psi when i get the car back on the road
