Ok so as usual, im an asshole and just coming out and asking my question. Spent 2 hrs reading and what not and still havnt quite found what im looking for. So I figure id give it a go and just ask you tib veterans. My 1st question is; if I buy the cams (both intake and exhaust), are any adjustable camgears that are sold for our cars compatible, i.e. OBX, Fidanza, the ones on kspec? I mean to me, Id say yes but seemingly almost everything Id normally assume with any other car seems to differ with tibs lol ;D. My 2nd question is simple. What is the best clutch / flywheel to get for low budget, performance, and quality. I can get my hands on a stage 2 ACT clutch for 289$, is ACT good and is that a decent price range for them? and what kind of flywheel should i go with? fidanza is amazing supposedly but is there anything better and cheaper?

if you get the act clutch get the sprung organic disk
a unsprung clutch can bust the trans and youll learn to hate it
i have a fidanza and i LOVE it best mod ive ever done to my car so far the cheapo ebay ones supposedly are good too but heavier and dont have a replaceable face

The cam gears work fine, and are much lighter, and you'd only need one cam sprocket if you go that route.
As for the clutch, the best way to go would be the VHR kit, you get a 300 WHP clutch, a forged lightweight flywheel, and a new pressure plate with a 1000KG clamping load, all of which weighs less than 25 pounds, for about $700.

I have a fidanza flywheel and a grip-force stage 3 clutch right now and can say that I love the setup.
Don't go cheap on the flywheel, get the fidanza.
As for the clutch, act is a respectable name, but my stage 3 (not really necessary for N/A, just bought it to have it, lol) was only like 220 shipped from ebay, look for the seller: gripforceclutches or something like that, EXCELLENT seller.

my current set up was under 600 for the stage 2 clutch, and fidanza flywheel.
currently i have a south bend clutch, and fidanza flywheel. i own a fidanza in every car i own litterally, and every car i HAVE owned in the past 5 years. by far my favorite mod ever. a good clutch, and lightweight flywheel do wonders for performance, and just the way it feels.

you rep the VHR set ups alot redz, but in all truth, do you have any actual personal experience with them? ive only seen maybe 2 people on this site that have ran them. not enough for me to drop that kind of coin when theres cheaper options out there that havent had any issues.

ty guys, great info on the clutchs/flywheels, however, still a little confused about the cam gears. How come I only need 1 sprocket? I do believe we have DOHC engines? or are sprockets different then the adjustible gears? O and for the fidanza flywheel, does anyone know the part number for a '01 tib? cause maybe its just me being more internet retarded but I cant seem to find one specifically marked for the 01 on fidanza's website.
