I love the engine bay... especially the nitrous setup.


Where did you get that intake manifold?

What nitrous setup?

Iremember there being more manifolds than just the airam, but people were saying that it wasnt the best quality.

quick question... off topic but kinda not really...

on the intake... the hose that comes outta the top and to the cylinder looking thing. should you really put a filter there and what exactly would that do for you, i've thought about doing this but didnt want to screw something up ya kno.

That cylinder on top of the IM is the IAC Motor. This is what controls the idle of the car when the throttle plate is closed. Normally there is a hose going to this from the intake piping right before the throttle body, but considering the custom setup, that location is necessary. So, yes, there should definately be some type of filter over that mechanism as it is sucking in air and routing it into your engine via the IM plenum. wink1.gif

with maf cars you dont want that filter there because the air will not be registered by the maf. his car is map, and the map sensor is in the manifold, so it gets read.

^ Yours uses a MAF sensor. You can't put a breather filter there.
