Default Cheaper Alternative to Haltech?

Just curious, what's a cheaper alternative to a Haltech E6K? Because if I buy it here, it would cost me around $2000 (****ing big markup ).

Perfect Power makes the piggyback "SMT-6" and also a Standalone "PRS", both of which are dirt cheap compared to other systems. The SMT seemed to work ok, and customer service is great. http://www.perfectpower.com/

Thanks for the link. I liked the PRS-8 standalone, and amazingly, there is a dealer for it here in my country. Does anyone think this is a good alternative to the E6K?

I could not find a cold start up sequence or a a/c input in the prs4 or 8.

Untill we can confirm you can use those.

They would not make good daily drivers in my book.
Unless someone can find it as a feature I missed.

They are more for racing. Were the cars will be warmed up long before you abuse it.
