Camshafts For Turbo Application
hey, i havent been on for like 6 months but when i left i know htere was talk of turbo cams being built. i searched and i couldnt find anyhting. does anyone know if these cams are able to be purchased?
I believe so. We havent had any real conclusive information on the after dyno I dont think as Redz was having some issues. The company is called Colt Cams. Search that and you should find some contact info.
kspec has turbo cams listed in their turbo section

but i dont kno much about cams, so i culdnt tell u if those are beneficial for a turbo or not, plus they have quite a price tag on em..
i called shark racing once jus to see if they could make em way back when, an they said they can, but thats all i asked, kinda left it out there as an option, but never really followed up w em.

I absolutely love my cams. I'm just at such a high elevation that I need something to tune my A/F ratio to get the benefits from it.
Colt Cams MAKES them, but you buy them from the user here named BHurlin, the owner of KFXPerformance.com

Because the way the engine runs with them in. The sound, the lopey idle, the screaming up near redline.
We've figured that if I can get my A/F ratio right, it should be a 16 to 22 WHP gain.
Remember, I'm at around 6000 Feet folks.
