if by boosting the IAC you mean boosting a car that has an IAC motor like the x3?

I've noticed that my idle is a little crappy.. it lopes +/- 150 rpm at idle.. and during part throttle cruising, sometimes when i roll on the gas and let off, the car tends to surge randomly.. ive checked all my hoses and vac lines.. and cant seem to find out why. the only other thing i can think of is.. the x3 ecu throwing small brainfarts every once in a while.

but yeah... other than the slight strange idle i get (only after warmed up too.. not cold idle) it's fine.

havent had any "serious" problems.

oh. wait. i dont know if it's due to IAC.. but cold idle.. if i try to stomp on the gas while the car's still not fully warmed up.. it surges/hesitates like crazy on me.

why would you do that? use your existing intake hose elbow piece (factory for the x3 on mine anyways) and run your chargepiping from AFTER that elbow. wink.gif i'll take a pic for you tomorrow.. your IAC connects to a rubber hose that goes to a grommet on the rubber elbow piece running off of your TB. smile.gif
voila. no long ass hose needed smile.gif just run the existing short hose that goes to that elbow!
