Default Boost vs Boost/Vacuum Gage

I was looking at the boost and boost/vacuum gages. What are the advantages and disadvantages to both? I tried to search but really did not find anything. I will also probably go digital to make quick views easier.

Thanks

There is nothing quick about having to squint to see if you are in boost or vacuum. A needle on one side or the other of atmospheric pressure is very clear.

The only difference between vacuum and boost/vacuum is the resolution/needle sweep.

Tell me you're boosted though.

What they said... there is really no advantage to a boost only gauge and a waste of money IMO. You can diagnose things with vacuum and see trends, always go both.
