external Wastegate will solve your issues i had this problem 4 years ago and since i went with a Tial 38mm External gate my problems were solved.Believe it or not even on Low boost an internal gate can cause a problem....The external rectified it RIGHT AWAY
Hope this helps! smile.gif

hey I just got and installed my Tial 38mm wastegate. Man that worked wonders!

Boost is hooked on 15psi! Man Tibbys are sure fast when boosted! Wooohooo!

you need to get a external wastegate .... its spiking because your internal one has formed heat cracks around the flapper valve in the turbo...weld it shut and go external with a 38mm gate.... fixed 4 of the same problems in the last 3 months here... fing02.gif
