Got my Tib back on the road, but ive encountered a problem that seems apparent that im hoping you can explain to me and help out.



T25 Turbo with AEM Boost controller gauge etc



Basically, when at WOT from 2k, my boost readings are really odd.



It tends to creep up with the revs - ie 1psi 2psi (theres fluttering in the numbers on its way up) before spiking at 8-9psi near the top at about 5k



Ive read up as much as I can on boost Creep & Spiking, but i havent found any examples anywhere of the situation that ive got - where it just goes up and up with the revs - is this right?



You can feel the power building and building, but lacks that "oomph" obviously as lower down its only pushing about 2-3 psi.

Sounds like a clogged cat to me. Excessive exhaust backpressure from a clogged muffler or cat can cause erratic boost response.
