Ok sorry I know this was coverd before but I couldnt find it in search.
what is black smoke,i have a little puffs coming out my exhaust under boost not much.

um generally black smoke means your burning oil, and just so you know, you double posted your topic lol nana.gif

If i remember correctly from a friend who had the same problem it was because your running to rich.
Hopefully someone with back me up or correct me cause i'm not 100% positive.

for the record.. black smoke is NEEEEVVVER oil.. its fuel.. in no general rule of thumb or anything does black smoke signal oil. oil is a bluish white..
your running too rich, plain and simple. when are you getting black smoke.. just at WOT high rpm? during shifting?

What Jay said, black smoke is ok. It means you're running rich. Do you have a catalytic converter? Blue smoke means oil, white means antifreeze.

Yah its just cuz your running real rich, i told you i could lean it up for you a bit since you knew you were running 10:1 under boost but u didnt want to lol
Wont hurt it in the short term though, running pig rich at all times is different.
