Default Beta I oil pan on Beta II

This is kinda a turbo question, LOL!

I need to know if a Beta I oil pan will bolt up and fit a Beta II block. I may be doing a VERY sweet swap in the near future and need to know this.

Thanks in advance to who ever has this golden piece of information!

a beta I pan swap on a beta II block? why?

i dont think it actually is a direct swap, but it would be relatively easy. i am almost positive the bolt spacing on the end seal on the transmission side is different and i had to slot the holes on my beta II pan to get it to fit on the beta I block. i used an actual gasket on mine. it was a pain in the ass to get those bolts in on that side because they go through the brace instead of the stamped steel on the beta I block.

hope im making sense here..

i already had a 'studded' block and i ended up 'studding' threaded shafts to get it to work for the way i did it.. it will be much easier to do a beta I pan on beta II block. the only thing you will have to worry about it the seal around the points where there is no bolt going through on th transmission side.
