Default Beta 2 turbo.

This is my next project, now that my beta swap is complete. I was going to turbo my 1.5L but it blew up. I have a t-25 fully rebuilt lying around with the oil feed/drain lines.

My be when my x-mas bonus rolls in i might be looking for a manifold and down pipe. T-25 should work fine for a 2.0L

What you guys think about that?

T-25's a bit small for a 2.0L. Maybe sell it and buy something bigger (or just spin the f**k out of it).

I might have to take you up on your offer Wilbur, to build me a manifold. What would you need from me to build it?

I think you should get a 16g turbo. They tend to work well on the beta II's. I've heard lots of good things about them and when I boost. (The accent or the elantra) that's what i'll be using. I'm just ot sure which one I'm gonna boost just yet. we'll see once I get the swap done. and compare the two.

Ill need just some high grade steel stock in 1/4 inch thickness thats roughly the size of your exhaust flange.

Some steam pipe ( I can get the ID and OD later), this is durable tough thick walled steel, and is available in mandrel bends. So two 90's and a straight section about 10 inches long. And Ill need either an exhaust flange for the turbo, or room on the steel stock to make the turbo flange.

When you come up to Floyds we can mock up the manifold design, and then I can go weld it for you.

That is the question.. the Internets of course.. Locally? Industrial supply shops, like Granger. Steam pipe is what they use for steam heat in a building. Places that sell steel should have it as well. I'll call around here locally to see whats available around my house. And I'll measure the I/D that we will need. I do think that since its pipe we will need to buy off of O/D and not I/D.
