Default AUTOMATIC TURBO

Ok im really not that good in the engine so my question will be:

Is the automatic capable of gaining the same hp with turbo as the 5 speed, and if it does i think i will go for the auto tib 03 coz im not good at stick shift. Im plannning to buy my tib by the end of April. I really wanted the 2nd gen coz it has lots of aftermarket parts but the 03 is already fast so im still deciding what to get. But for now im gonna drive my elantra. rolleyes.gif rolleyes.gif

www.levelten.com

I believe that is the website. They have automatic tranny upgrades that will be able to handle the extra power of a turbo. You can either upgrade the torque converter or get the whole tranny reworked.

if you bypass the factory oil cooler (redirects from the transmission to the bottom of the radiator)with an aftermarket cooler such as those sold at the atoparts store, your transmission will run cooler and have less slippage .. as a result, your trans will hold more power, last longer, and shift smoother !!!!!

all for $29. bux.

The best thing of auto turbo cars is that you don't have to take off the gas pedal to shift. For that reason you will have a boosted intake charge all the time that you are racing. wink
