Default A'pex Turbo kit?

Hey guys,

i'm sure all of you have seen the issue of import tuner a few months ago with the red '03 tib on the front. It happens to feature the new A'pex turbo kit for the 2.0L 4cyl. Does anyone know anything about this kit, or where to get one? cost? etc..thanks a lot

Sam

Leave it to a well known brand name to ignore the potential of a less popular motor. CIVIC!!! SUPRA!!! 300ZX!!! tiburon??? (not that I don't like supras and 300zx's)

If you ask Apex-i, they say the kit was a "one off" just for "show".

According to rumours I have heard, it will be a 50 State Legal (carb approved) turbo kit, due out in late May/June. It will also be expensive. $5499 However it will be 100% complete (including ECU, injectors..etc). It will ONLY work on the Beta2 (returnless fuel system).

In theory, you could hack/re-work the kit to work on the beta1 (1997-2001), but you would loose the support of Apex-i and the 50 state legal status.
