Default Alpine turbo kit

Will a stage 2 kore clutch and fidanza flywheel be alright with a alpine turbo kit?

Also anyone know when the turbo kit will be ready?

I feel you posted in the right area.

I know they are retuning the turbo kit. It was available before, not sure now.

As for a the kore stage 2 clutch, you should talk to XxXMoNoXiDeChilD and see whats going on with him.

He has a kore stage 2 and its slipping, He has a stock car with just a lightweight flywheel.

so under that aspect, I dont think it will hold.
His might have been a defect so I would post the clutch question separatly.

And now that I think of it, check the Alpine section. And post there. Thats a direct link to alpine, so they would know best.

say what!! geez
Slipping with just the lightened flywheel damn!

It says the clutch can hold a turbo/nos setup but not both on their website.

And it's slipping...? maby he got some greece on the clutch disk or something.

Stage 4 held up to 180-200whp yesterday perfectly...

maybe they mean a 1psi turbo and a 10hp shot of nos.

There descriptions are super general.

ACT makes clutches check out the hp store.

ha. a 10 shot...
there is a bit if a price dif between the stage 2 and 4

Im getting the fidanza flywheel and stage 2 clutch. would you advise against this?

I noticed one problem with the kore cluthes, they are alot thinner than the stock one. I had a simular problem with my stage three, what i had to do is remove the arm off the fork on the tranny and grind down the stop so it would release a little farther. After I did that it felt great and I know have 20,000 on it with no problems at all.

Sorry to hijack the post but maxxtib doesnt have an email listed so i couldnt mail him.

Maxxtib could you mail me to let me know exactly what you had to do how much you had to remove etc. Its just that im buying a stage 3 soon and i would prefere to do any mods needed on the install.TIA
