Default Alpine SuperCharger EJ Dyno

K, guys.
For those of you looking at getting an Alpine SuperCharger.

The latest news is, I and Jaws01 will be heading out to Omaha, Nebraska to get it tuned at EJ's Dyno. Sept.21.2002 (Saturday).

This was all possible through the terrific response time and organization of everything by BallRub at Alpine.

I will be posting up results with Dyno sheets as soon as I get back, should be posted on this thread by the 23rd.

Wish me luck.

Omaha!! I'm from Council Bluffs, just on the Iowa side of the river. What time are you getting it tuned? I am in Ames, Ia right now, but will be home on Friday. If you read this, give me an idea. Are you staying in town for an evening? Let me know and maybe I could drop in and see the tib?

We are coming into Omaha about 9am, Saturday. Get it tuned and look around Omaha for a bit and then back home.

It would be cool if there is an hyundai/tib crew in that city that can meet up with us.

that was the closest place alpine could retune your unichip? i was thinking of getting a alpine or cappa kit, but i don't want to drive 2 days just to get it retuned.

I am hoping Alpine will start resonably tuning their chips when you buy them, if you supply simple information about the cams you have and exhaust system.

Well, BallRub at Alpine gave me a few choices to choose from a list of Unichip tuners he found.

The list is fairly long and included everywhere from east to west coast locations, like Vancouver BC in Canada to California in the states.

From the list this matched my criteria quite well. IE: Closest to my location and availability.

If anyone wants to know the closest unichip dealer/tuner. You can always email ballrub he is very friendly and helpful or contact Dastek(last resort for the common folk).

But if you have the new V6 Tuscani you won't need to tune, because word is it will not have the unichip!!!!! smile.gif

edit: If anyone is in the area and would like to join in during the tuning or just chill for a while in Omaha, Nebraska. Here is the address I will be at for tuning.
EJ's Dyno
13326 B Street
(402) 691 - 8651

The only other board member around there that I know of is Jpo. Never really found much more than that. There are a few tibs around, but never met any of them that try to hook up their cars. You said that you were getting into town around 9AM, is that the time that you are scheduled to hit the dyno?

We should be in Omaha by 7am Saturday morning. It will take us a while to find the place, so if anyone in Omaha whould like to show us around it would be greatly appreciated.
