Default Air filter?

Just wondering what type of air filter you guys are using on your street set ups? How big of an air filter would I need to keep from things being restricted? Is just a normal round open filter style just fine?

Unless you are adding lots of power, the stock filter is probably fine. I use a K&N because I never have to buy a second one.

I have a standard 3" inlet cone filter, but don't get the cheap ones that have an indent and lots of epoxy like this guy, ive seen them come apart and end up in a compressor wheel at full throttle and DESTROY a turbo.

^ I have one those 3" inlet open style ones. It's an ebay one and seems to do the job. I've had it for over a year now, but I'm getting rid of it for either an AEM or K&N like this:

I use a dry flow from AEM. It is cleanable and needs no oil like the K&N. Lifetime warranty and the first one I had fell apart. They sent me a new improved version and it is much more robust.

I use a green panel filter, in the factory air box. Upgraded fuel system for turbo but no issues with restrictive intake.

I throw a genuine or ryco paper filter in every service. Pod filters... only belong on custom turbo builds where you run out of engine bay room. They've been debunked most everywhere else.
