whats better in terms of cooling? an air to water or air to air set up? are either one limited by a certain power rating?

depends on the setup and what your trying to accomplish



air to air is better for a daily really cuz of less things to go wrong and less parts to setup



air to water you can drop the intake temp lower than ambient temp for race days (dry ice etc)

i would always go with air to air unless the space is REALLY tight.



the only time I would ever go water to air is if I was using the vehicle primarily for racing and multiple runs. thats where is really becomes effective. also if I had no room to run a proper SMIC/FMIC setup.
