Aem Fic
hey all, haven't posted on the forums lately but i'v been lurking around.
anyway, i'v been trying to find out some info on the aem FIC. the universal one, 30-1910, is the box itself the same as the others? i have a good deal on a 30-1913 which aem says is for the srt4, does that mean it just has a plug and play harness or is the programming itself different? and if it is different, will it still work with the beta? (this is going on my 2000 tiburon by the way)
any input would be appreciated, thanks smile.gif

The main difference in the units is the type of sensors it is wired for. I belive for a tib you want the 1910 version. They don't make a plug and play harness for our car but it's fairly easy to make your own. the difference between the 6 and 8 models is the number of injectors they support and a few minor features.

good question, i don't know how/if the 1913 is different from the 1910. I just know that tib guys so far have been using the 1910.
the srt4 one has a different injector circuit or something because they were haveing issue with stumbles and shit so its got some different injector code or soemthing ... people were sending in the 1910 to be upgraded to the same code as the 1913 so u might be able to do the same well reverse contact aem...
i decided to pass up on the 1913 and ordered the universal one instead. i found some info on some srt forums that the firmware is different, not really sure how its different but enough that the 1910 doesn't work for them. better to do it right than do it cheap.
