Default 99 accent turbo

This is my boosted accent AT, the setup: saab t25, volvo wastegate, sinktrap mani, walbro 255 hp, 12:1 fmu (adjustable), beta 1.8 injectors, cold air intake, no intercooler, stock exhaust, no bov, no boost gauge, stock maf, stock fpr. I have a beta one maf that I'll put in when I get a set of 2.0 injectors. My best 1/4 mile was 16.9@81.6 so far. http://s846.photobucket.com/albums/ab27/st...pg&newest=1 http://s846.photobucket.com/albums/ab27/st...pg&newest=1 http://s846.photobucket.com/albums/ab27/st...pg&newest=1 http://s846.photobucket.com/albums/ab27/st...pg&newest=1 http://s846.photobucket.com/albums/ab27/st...pg&newest=1 http://s846.photobucket.com/albums/ab27/st...pg&newest=1 http://s846.photobucket.com/albums/ab27/st...pg&newest=1 http://s846.photobucket.com/albums/ab27/st...pg&newest=1

Now THAT is what I call Ghetto Fabulous!! LOL

I'd probably get some sort of real fuel tuner on there otherwise you risk locking up your injectors with too much fuel pressure. LOL

I was all set to joke on a 16.9 after all the expense of a turbo setup. Then I saw your total outlay so far. In that case, I'm going to have to congratulate on a job well done.

Except, would it kill you to grind a weld down? laugh.gif

Why thank you. finger2.gif I have a restrictor/bleed valve on the fmu so I can turn down the rate of gain.

I used a homemade (out of two microwave ovens) stick welder, grinding them would just make more leaks.

little update for this car: I've been running non intercooled for a while now so I got a 28x7x2.5" bar and plate fmic and 2.5" piping off ebay, I really had to hack up the bumper to make it fit. My misfiring problem came up again after I raised the boost a little so I gapped the plugs down from .028 to .026, it runs smoothly now but the the gap is really distorted. Any suggestions for plugs that can be gapped tighter? http://s846.photobucket.com/albums/a...2010114709.jpg http://s846.photobucket.com/albums/a...2010114803.jpg http://s846.photobucket.com/albums/a...2010113944.jpg

Are you reading the plugs for your a/f at WOT? You're probably running lean. What octane fuel are you using?

It might also be the stock coils that just don't have the power to handle much more boost pressure.
