92-95 Elantra 4G63 Swap:90 E-Prom AWD ECU in my Elantra Swap
I found a guy with a 90 E-Prom ECU for AWD , a wiring harness and a 1G MAS. First question, will the AWD ECU work with my FWD setup or is there a way I can get it to work? Also I used all the sensors except the O2 from the engine i bought which is a 90. Will this work? If so Im running a wiring harness this weekend.
Yeah, im going to take pics and everything and probably wire up my turbo timer since the harness will be outside of the car and wiring could be done with little to no effort.. better than laying on your back on the driver side counting pins with a flashlight in my mouth, a klein in one hand and connectors in the other
just got a PM back from him and the harness is basically no good. So I know I can still use the hyundai harness but I need to run the wires for at least the knock sensor. what other wires do I need to run or other modifications do i need to do
I cant find an ECU pinout on webtech either, there is a longlist of what the pins do but then I'd have to read each diagnosis procedure and write down which pin does what wink1.gif

after re-reading what you posted it seems that there are two wires missing in the MAS harness for pins 7 and 8.. So I have to run 4 wires total. 2 for the knock and pins 7 & 8 on the harness.. which two pins are 7 and 8?
also does polarity matter with the coolant temp sensor?
