that is outstanding. i should reenlist for like 6 years and dump the 20-30 grand i'd get right into a MASSIVE turbo kit for my car... sweet find

Most of the cars they feature seem to be done by guys with endless cash supplies and good connections with "tuner"shops. It would be nice if they featured some guys from the Hyundai community who basically do their own "r&d" on their own vehicles in their driveways and on a limited budget. Those are the type of people I respect and the type of vehicles I would like to see.

Well, most of the rdtiburon members who have turbocharged their cars, are on a limited budget.
My car is 70% completed, another 6-12 months of saving up money to get the forged pistons intalled.
I've spent $10k on parts and got only up to 260hp and the bulk of the parts are good secondhand.

I got a link about a Hyundai Accent doing like 9 seconds on the 1/4mile...

Sorry.. its on Spanish... but basically said that is a 1996 Accent 2.0, 600HP, turbo, nitro and use C16 fuel.


Also it said that it use automatic trans. froma Tiburon with a welded LSD
