Default 7psi whats needed

As most of you know I've been thinking of boosting the tib for a while here's what I got:

Sr20 black top rebuilt turbo 7 psi stock(thats all I want)

Have equal length headers thinking alpine cast iron might be better

Turboxs bov

Act stage 3 clutch

1.8 cam

Now my question for the tib experts is what will I NEED to finish I know fmic recommended size fuel management( I heard from someone 7 psi wouldn't necessarily need any but I'm asking again)

Thanks in advance

7Psi you could possibly maybe possibly get away with out a Tuner as long as you on romp seldomly and dont do long hard pulls to 140. Also at 7 Psi you can run with out a intercooler. I would personally recommend you get a Aem FIC, dont worry about setting up a FMIC, And make it just a sleeper.

ALso you will need some Ford Racing 440's I have a set right now with 2K miles on them i will sell you for 80 Bucks Shipped to your door! Pm me if you want them!!!

Other than that just some feed and returb oil lines for the turbo, you should be just fine! I would also suggest getting a 190 Fuel Pump which will work on the stock regulator to save you from having to buy a fuel aftermarket regulator and Kit, that wiill save you a few hunder bucks.

who ever told you dont need to have fuel management is right, but it will increase the reliability and power of the car.

If the car is running lean than you run the risk of ruining you're motor.

And yes people don't run intercoolers for low psi because it reduces lag, cuts down on cost, and doesn't affect the hp output to much because at 7psi the turbo's compressed air isn't getting to hot.

just out of curiosity, how high does the PSI need to be to require an IC?

In my experience since I have drove the car many times without fuel management at 8psi I get a cel on about running rich never had any issue running lean thought, I still recommend fuel management it runs so much better with it. Also stock pump won't work.

there is a lot of info on this forum that i have posted and many others have posted regarding these things.. you don't really need to 'search' for anything.. just go through the first 5 pages of the 'turbo' area and you will find everything you need.

regarding your question CTS...

i'd recommend fuel management no matter what pressure, but its not absolutely necessary at low pressures, just make sure you are getting ENOUGH fuel. of course, untuned (no FIC or alike) you will probably be running richer than you should which will take a hit on your power output, ruin spark plugs faster, among other things..

regarding the FMIC, you can put a setup together pretty cheap these days and I would recommend it. Odds are you THINK you will be fine with 7lbs but its an addiction..

overbuilding your setup is what I always recommend and design for.

sure some 14yr old used GSX fuel pump that costs 20$ will work at low pressure, but I would ALWAYS use a 60-80$ walbro knockoff 190 or 255 anyday.

Me, Random, Faith, Jon, Tanc, etc. have beat the 'turbo setup and whats needed' to DEATH over and over.

if you are NOT going to go with fuel management, I would recommend an FPR setup to give you a 'rough' tune and so you can adjust the pressure at least to what works best.. with no FIC or adjustable FPR its not going to be much fun.
